Serving Greer, Harmon, Jackson and Kiowa Counties... A Note From The Chapter Executive Director... I would like to tell you a little about myself. I am a graduate of Altus High School. My husband Andrew, our 11 children, and I believe in the importance of giving back to the community. In addition to working with the red cross we are members of the Family Worship Center. and we own Hall's Welding here in Altus. I am involved in my second term on the Altus Board of Education, I am a Chairperson for the Organization Chair for Main Street Altus and for the Great Plains Stampede Rodeo, I am a member of the Great Plains Literacy Council, Southwestern Youth Services, and am the Secretary for Altus Alumni. Southwest Oklahoma Chapter of the American Red Cross has a very rich history. The staff and volunteers will continue to provide quality services to Southwest Oklahoma including Jackson, Harmon, Greer and Kiowa counties. We will be available to assist victims of disaster, quality instruction in CPR, First Aid and Blood Services. Please feel free to contact us at anytime so that we can help you help your community.

Hall History... Initially chartered in 1917, the Red Cross chapter in Jackson county has been providing services to the families of this area with worldwide communication between them and their loved ones in the Armed Forces of the United States. Some of the services are emergency assistance to victims of disaster, quality instruction in CPR, First Aid and Blood services. On February 27, 1994 a re-chartering instruction was completed and a new Charter received certifying that this Chapter continues to provide quality services. In July 1996 the Chapter welcomed Kiowa, Greer and Harmon counties into the jurisdiction and changed the chapter name to Southwest Oklahoma Chapter to better reflect the geographical area we now cover.
